CEO/Founder of Hanging Cow Productions is first a writer, then a Producer and a Director, occasionally an actress, always a comedienne, and a few times, even a model (citizen!). She wrote and produced her first full scale Off Off Broadway production the "ButtCracker" in 2002/2014/2015, followed by writing/producing/directing 5 audience interactive Off Broadway Comedy Shows. ("Who Killed Mama Souprano?" "Greased Lightning a 25 Year Comedy High School Reunion," "My Big Fat GEEK Wedding," "Hairy Plotter and the Murderous Stone," and "The Agagamy Award Show.") Currently any one of her 5 Interactive productions may be seen performing all over the New York City-tri state area, and her shows will soon be produced both in national and international venues. Elise loves writing and producing drama just as much as comedy. 2015's "The Answers to Apathy" and 2014's "The Sixth Session" were dramatic hits well received by audiences and the media. Both shows encompassing personal stories close to her heart, she is now determined to get these shows to the next level, ON BROADWAY, and as soon as possible! 2016 delivered the equally successful dramatic play "An Arrangement of Euphoric Illusions" and "12 Steps, The Musical!" opens in September. Elise has now produced and directed over 250 theatrical shows from coast to coast, and she currently continues to write and produce all original works for theatre, film, and television. She strives to keep producing new theatrical and film/television projects which are thought provkoing and on the cutting edge...
Originally from a very small town in Nevada which she anonymously yet humorously refers to as "Hellhole," desperate to leave the desert, Elise went off and studied Writing, Acting, Theatre/TV Production, and Broadcasting for 3 years in San Francisco and for 5 years in Los Angeles. She has worked diligently and ambitiously in every aspect of the entertainment industry from performing on stage and on television and film, to a disc jockey and news producer for KGLE/KPTL Radio (West Coast), and in helping launch and develop a television pilot for Universal Studios, Hollywood. She has an extensive acting resume in all mediums of performing, and she has currently been a full time theatrical writer/producer/director here in New York City since 2001. As for the unique company name of "Hanging Cow Productions," Elise is quite familiar with livestock! (horses that is) She was an accomplished, 4-H leader and professional horsewoman since the age of 14, having ridden, trained, & shown horses for over 10 years in English & Western riding. Other artistic worthy credits include authoring of a Seinfeld (unaired) episode, 2 television sitcom pilots currently in development for Showtime, several collegiate Acting & Writing/Directing awards, and she is a published poet, magazine, and web author. In her spare time she enjoys travel abroad, skiing, ice skating, paranormal investigating, spirituality, collecting 80's memorabilia, and Elise also plays the drums! She works and resides in Manhattan, New York City.

Though in the last 10 years Elise has focused on producing for the New York City Off Broadway stage, HCP has no shortage of other projects in the works including a documentary and a television sitcom type pilot in que to pitch for Showtime.
